International Festival of Jazz Granada |
November sees City Council of Granada, in conjunction with The Junta de Andalucía and Alhambra Beers, hosting the 29th Annual Jazz Festival. The International Festival of Jazz Granada is the only Spanish member of the European network of festivals, known as Europe Jazz Network and is therefore considered one of the most important festivals in Europe, as well as being one of the oldest.
Running from November 8th - 23rd 2008, the artist line and programme has just been announced. Artists due to perform include the Nicholas Payton Quartet, Dizzy Gillespie All Stars, Lizz Wright, the Danilo Pérez Trio, and the Kurt Elling Quartet along with many others.
