Granada International Festival of Music & Dance Granada International Festival of Music & Dance
25th June to 14th July are the dates for the Granada International Festival of Music and Dance 2009. Celebrating its 58th year, the 2009 festival is set to welcome more than 30,000 visitors to the concerts, dance and ballet performances on offer.

Almuñécar Jazz Festival Almuñécar Jazz Festival

The Majuelo Park, just below Almuñécar’s old Arab Castle in the Province of Granada, once again plays host to the Costa Tropical’s annual Jazz Festival. Now in its 22nd year, it has become one of the most important summer festivals held in Andalucia.

La Virgen de La Piedad Festival La Virgen de La Piedad Festival

This festival, held on 6 - 9 Sep 2009 in Baza, in the north of Granada, is one of the more bizarre festivals celebrated in Spain each year. Its history lies in the discovery of a statue over 500 years ago.

Festival of La Virgen de las Angustias Festival of La Virgen de las Angustias

The last Sunday in September, which falls on the 27th this year, sees the culmination of the Festival of 'La Virgen de las Angustias' in Granada, whereby a floral tribute and procession is held in her honour each year.
